October is the time of year when the weather gets colder, the leaves start to fall, and best of all, Halloween! During Halloween, zombies growl and werewolves howl. A spooky mood lingers in the air. These movies are sure to give you chills, or at least a good laugh!

 Frankenweenie (2012)  In this movie, an unpopular schoolboy brings his dog back to life after it dies in an accident. 

Goosebumps (2015)  In this movie, a boy has a crush on his neighbor, but he can’t figure out her dad. Things start getting weirder and weirder until the real question is… can they save their town from certain doom?

Corpse Bride (2005)  In this movie, a guy proposes to a dead girl instead of his lover! Can they figure things out and live happily forever

E.T: The Extra-Terrestrial (1982)  In this movie, a young boy finds an alien in his shed. He has to try to keep him a secret, but it isn’t easy with government agents looking for him. Will he get caught?

Poltergeist (1982)  There isn’t much to say about this movie. It is a Halloween CLASSIC. It is sure to give you goosebumps.

Toy Story of TERROR (2013)  This movie may look babyish at first, but it is a movie that older kids and younger kids will definitely enjoy.

Monster House (2006)  In this movie, a kid finds out that the creepy house on his block is a living, breathing thing! He and his friends must go on an adventure to destroy the house and save the people it has eaten.

It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966)  This movie is a classic and is really funny. Though it might not be the scariest on the list, it is really enjoyable.

Gremlins (1984)  In this movie, a father buys a gift for his son. That gift turns out to be a monster. Can you guess what happens next?
