The GW Baseball Club is a new club hosted by Mr. Medley, a 6th grade Social Studies teacher. Baseball Club is open to everyone in the school. There are 10 kids, all of whom are in 6th grade. Club members meet on Tuesdays in February and March in the school gym. We interviewed a participant of the club named Christian Varano(pictured below), who plays travel baseball. He said the club members are learning how to field the ball and how to bat correctly.  Christian says that he enjoys the club very much. Baseball club is tons of fun and the students are learning to become better ball players.
