GW Expands in Türkiye with Majority Stake in Istanbul-Based Customs Logistics Provider
Gebrüder Weiss has strengthened its presence in Türkiye by acquiring a majority share in Sienzi Lojistik, a customs warehousing expert in Istanbul. The move enhances service capabilities for customers managing complex international supply chains.
Gebrüder Weiss has taken a majority stake in Sienzi Lojistik, a top provider of customs and warehouse logistics services in Istanbul. Operating as an independent entity, the company will now trade under the name Sienzi Lojistik – a Company of Gebrüder Weiss. The transaction is set to close in January 2026, subject to regulatory approval. Murat Doğan remains managing director of Sienzi Lojistik and continues to hold a stake in the company.

Gebrüder Weiss and Sienzi Lojistik have been working together in Türkiye for nearly a decade. The company’s bonded warehouse plays a key role in handling imports, exports, and transshipment operations. “We can store goods until customs duties are cleared or transit procedures are completed and consolidate shipments from various countries of origin.
